Now that you have had a chance to program your robot using a computer, what was the hardest part of using the Mindstorm software?

Was it easier to program your robot with the computers or just using the robot's 'brain'?

Were you able to make your robot do what you wanted?

Well, now you know what's inside the box because we looked at the insides of a computer tower. We saw many different circuits that work together.

As you can see, the IGNITE @ Brooklands blog is all set to go.

As teachers who will be running IGNITE Camps in their classrooms over the next few weeks, I'd like all of you to experience blogging first-hand.

We'll be using this blog to post questions for our students to consider. All students will be asked to reflect on their learning experiences as they take part in IGNITE camp. Through responding to our questions on this blog, their reflections will be shared with the entire IGNITE community.

Encouraging our students to blog will accomplish many things. As students explore blogging and respond to each other's comments, we should see some interesting things happening. The students who take part in IGNITE Camp will have many opportunities to present and share their work with a larger audience than they are used to...

While taking part in the two days of training at M.E.C.Y., you will be shown how to access this blog, how to post comments to this blog, and we'll also talk a little bit about subscribing to blogs in general :-)
