IGNITE @ Brooklands

I thought it was interesting that so many of the students wanted to take home a piece of their laptop. I was also amazed that so many students could identify what their piece was.

I really liked it when students came up to me throughout the afternoon to tell me about what they noticed when they were taking apart their laptops. One student (Lola) found a really small fan, and she compared it to the larger fan from inside the desktop computer that we took apart as a class!

The hardest part about taking the laptop is undoing the screws.

The funnest part was when the propeller came fulling off.That was the funnest part.

It was really fun taking apart a laptop and seeing what was inside it. The hardest part of taking apart the laptop apart was when you had to open it up.

yes. the hard port was when you unscrew the laptop and my piece was the square had holes in it
 

my partner and i got to take apart a desk top

The hardest part about taking apart a laptop was trying to get the mirror thing out of the screen.
 

Yes. The hardest thing to take out is the screws. I took a screw home so we can have a extra screw for my dad to make tables.
 

i had a good day it was so interesting when we had to take apart laptop's.

My object is called reflective paper.It is behind the screen of a laptop.I picked this object because I can see reflections in different ways.I enjoyed taking apart the laptop but there was screws that were screws hard to take out.

I enjoyed the part about taking apart a laptop to see the inside of how it really looks like and breaking apart of it and seeing the mother bored and what team work it takes to do it.

I picked something from the back of the screen and when you see it or if you put your hand in the back of it you can see two of your hand and you have just one hand on the back of it and it looks really cool so I that's why I chose that piece have and I think it's a fine thing to take home.
 

yes i really enjoyed taking a piece home yesterday. I thought it was really interesting. the piece that i took home was the power supply box. the box looked like a big silver piece. The hardest part of taking the laptop apart was the screws and opening it up. I had to struggle a bit to open it cause I had to use safety gloves to open it. And i also had fun cause i also helped several groups break open their computers...
 

I took the fan because if you blow in it the fan will move around. The hard part that my group took out was the bottom of the laptop. It was fun taking apart of a laptop. Did you ever took apart of a laptop?

The hard part about taking apart the outer part of it.
But working on the inside of it was easy and really

The piece that I took home was a Floppy compartment. I took the Floppy compartment because
it looked cool.

I took home a chip board that was two inches by four inches and it had lots of chips on it. I am not sure what the board was for but so much fun.

THE HARDEST THING ABOUT IGNITE CAMP WAS COUTING THE PIECES AND PUTING THEM BACK TOGETHER AND IT WAS SO EASY TO TAKE THEM APART AND REALLY EASY TO PUT THEM TOGETHER AND USIG THE SNAP CIRCUIT KITS.
