Telling Your Story about IGNITE
Image: 'Encadré (Jardim Botânico, Rio de Janeiro)' - www.flickr.com/photos/33432224@N00/2285253737Now that you've had a chance to see and hear each other's comments on our VoiceThread, please reflect on how you will tell your story about your IGNITE Camp experiences :-)
What did you enjoy the most about Day 1 of IGNITE Camp?
Can you explain how the inside of a computer is similar to the human body?

when we took apart the computer the fan is like our sweat because when we get hot we sweat when the computer gets hot the fan goes on.
I can't wait to build the robots after recess.
I thought that the fan was like our sweat. The wires that connect everything together are like the nervous system that sends messages to your brain.

the computer was a lot like the human body because wires(viens) motherboard(brain) hard drive (brain) metal casing(skelatin)
I liked building circuits. It was fun trying to figure where things went. The mother board has a lot of cords like the nerves of the human body.
I like the most is the circuit's that was so much fun yesterdy.
It's the mother broard its like the brian.

Our first day at ignite camp was very interesting we really enjoyed working with the the students on their circuits and learning what the interior of the tower looked like and what it needs to work. Also the computer we think relates to the human body in so many similar ways for instance the wires could also act like veins which carry the blood to different parts of the body! We had a great time can't wait to work on OUR ROBOTS!!
I liked snapping the circuits. I liked doing it because I was building things. The mother board is like the brain of the human body.
its like there is a brain and like the wires are like are nerves system and that is not even the best part
noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Day 1 was fun.I enjoy wane we took aport a computer. And we can see the inside of a computer. That was so much fun.We only have 1 more day. Today we are going to be building robot's. IGNITE camp ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
taking apart a computer is awesome but today we get to build some awesomely cool stinking robots oh yahhhh baby.
@NC - I love your ideas about how the fan inside the computer is like sweat. I've never made that connection before, but it's very true!
@zacbinyac - The outside case of the computer IS just like our skeleton, because it protects the insides of the computer the same way that our skeleton protects our vital organs.
@PebblesNBamBam - I think we're all pretty excited about building the robots using LEGO Mindstorm :-) We REALLY appreciate all of the assistance that you've provided over the last two days of IGNITE Camp - thanks again ;-)
MR.Cool - That's right! The RAM does make the computer perform faster. I can't believe how much computers are now than they were just a couple of years ago. I wonder how much faster computers will be two years from now?
